What Torchpass is
Torchpass is a free screening tool that helps facilities teams see where building knowledge depends on a few people, how complete their equipment records are, and how ready their data is for AI tools. Results are estimates built from your own answers.
Not professional advice
Torchpass is for general information and planning. It is not engineering, safety, legal or compliance advice, and it does not replace an inspection by qualified people. Don't rely on it for decisions about life safety, code compliance or equipment operation. Always follow manufacturer instructions, applicable codes and your organization's procedures.
Using Torchpass
- You can use the screening, results and templates freely for your own work and your organization's buildings.
- Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it, scrape it at scale or send spam through its forms.
- Don't present Torchpass results or content as your own product, or resell them.
Your information
Screening answers stay in your browser. Anything you send us through a form is handled as described in our privacy policy.
Content and templates
The Torchpass name, logo, articles, method and site design belong to Torchpass. You're welcome to share links and quote short passages with credit. The templates are free to copy, change and use inside your organization.
No warranty
Torchpass is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we can't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted or right for every building.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Torchpass and its creator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, its results or its templates, including decisions made based on them. Because Torchpass is free, if any liability is found despite this, it is limited to US$100 in total.
Links to other sites
Torchpass may link to outside sites and services. We're not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date below. Continuing to use Torchpass after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
